Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Centre can meet the needs of a diverse range of young people with varying complex learning needs including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and challenging behaviours. Our team of highly skilled instructors are fully trained and experienced to work with you to both understand and meet your needs.

Accommodation

Rest assured that whatever accommodation you choose, staying in our Manor House, cosy New Forest Lodges or Camping under the stars, we will work with you to ensure the space is as comfortable as possible to suit the varying needs within your group.

Activities & Adaptations

Our extensive portfolio of activities and experienced team mean we can adapt our delivery to meet the needs of your group. If you need to work with smaller ratios, want to ensure you have a quiet space away from other groups, would prefer a simpler programme or need additional equipment to support those with physical needs, just let us know as early as possible in your booking process and we can make it work for you and your students.

Catering

We understand that meal times can be challenging for young people with SEN, so we are here to support you. If you need a quieter space to eat meals, longer meal times or takeaway boxes, just let us know and we will do the rest. We can also provide menus in advance and pictures of meals if it will help, and our friendly catering team will always make sure your students are well fed. Nothing is too much trouble.
