Our aim is to inspire as many young people as possible be a force for change in their own lives and the lives of others in their communities. We already work with a number of National providers to deliver bespoke development programmes designed to inspire young leaders to learn to engage, build communication skills and realise their potential.

Apprenticeships & Graduate Development
At Avon Tyrrell and UK Youth, we provide a base for hands-on learning, through our apprentice scheme at UK Youth, we provide a base for hands-on learning, giving young people the skills and recognised qualifications they need to succeed in the outdoor industry.
We can also help your apprentices through our leadership development programmes where we can link our programmes to your own internal training and development schemes.

Leadership Development
Our Outdoor Learning Apprenticeships are the perfect way to kickstart a career outdoors. Suitable for people aged 18+, the 2-year course aims to get participants gaining qualifications, skills and confidence to run outdoor sessions.
Working with a skilled team, apprentices can live onsite in our low-cost accommodation and immerse themselves in an outdoor learning instructor’s lifestyle.
Our Leadership Development programme is here to help develop your graduates or apprentices, helping them become the best that they can be.
We will work with you, finding out your aims and outcomes for the graduates and apprentices, to come up with a bespoke programme, to help them learn new skills, resilience and communication through our experience, learn and develop model.
After the programme, the skills that they’ve learnt will help them pass their assessments and have them be assets to your company.

We offer day and residential programmes to individual groups. In addition to offering Outdoor Learning based personal development, we can also offer career development programmes focused on employment, leadership and wellbeing.
