Based inside The New Forest National Park, Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Centre works with a wide variety of groups and provides opportunities for young people to experience, learn and develop through inclusive outdoor learning programmes.

We are looking for individuals who have experience of delivering outdoor learning sessions to a range of ages and abilities and who hold a valid first aid certificate and at least one of the below qualifications:

• BC Coach Award or minimum BC Paddle Sport Instructor
• CWI Assessed or a nationally recognised Climbing qualification
• ERCA Traditional Instructor & ERCA Rescuer
• A nationally recognised Mountain Biking qualification
• Archery GB instructor

What we can offer you

• Salary: £25,000 – £26,800 per annum (pro rata)
• Hours: 37.5 hours a week
• Start date: Various start dates available between Feb and April
• Duration: Initially until November 2026, with potential to apply for full time positions in Autumn 2026
• Accommodation: Private room in shared onsite accommodation available at £45 pw (optional)
